Bari’s philosophy is strategy first. Similarly, our branding work began with strategy. In a signature BRANDING INTENSIVE session with Bari, Blue and select members of their team, we worked to uncover the heart of their Brand.
The resulting Brand Idea put their clients front and center. In retrospect, each name on their client roster hired SAGE Event Management because of the value in having a strategic event partner who allowed the client to focus on their best value: deliver great content for event attendees. We emphasized SAGE Event Management as the “engine” behind clients events that helped drive the success of those events: “powered by SAGE.”
That idea implies a promise that events are better when “powered by SAGE”.
Next, we created a Visual Identity and Brand Architecture system that highlights their suite of services: video production, event management, site selection, and live stream production (each endorsed with “powered by SAGE”) in a simple, yet cohesive fashion.
The Masterbrand mark for SAGE uses a soft, graceful script font (inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo) in lower-case lettering. This represented personalization – key value proposition for SAGE Event Management. In addition, the font color for SAGE is expressed through calming, cool colors to maintain a contemporary feel. SAGE Event Management wanted to show themselves as a market leader through unparalleled brand recognition.
