In a signature BRANDING INTENSIVE day, we asked several strategic questions geared to push Afrin to explore her target audiences, her specific value, and her vision. Through this process, we helped identify the Brand Idea: “A Future of Memorable Experiences.” This Brand Idea epitomized what she delivers as an event planner: Red Elephant creates experiences that people remember and share in the years to come.
We then focused on the very animal that inspires Afrin: elephants. Elephants store memory; the symbolism of this ability formed a story and the forward-stepping movement of the elephant in her logo. The red, borrowed from the red elephants of Kenya, symbolized strength and power while complementing the colors beige (similar to the elephant tusk) and turquoise (a color serendipitously used in her 700-person wedding).
Today, Red Elephant is a market leader in the event space. Iman resigned from his previous employer and joined forces with Afrin. Now, a 7-figure event planning business committed to exclusively helping entrepreneurs with their events, Red Elephant does more than event planning.
